Venture: A risky or daring journey or undertaking
After fifteen years of working nonstop in technology startups, I decided to do the scary thing by taking a year off of work and pursuing a new kind of venture. Over the course of a year, I visited thirty countries and every continent except Antarctica.
During this time I realized my passion for the travel industry, and after a chance meeting with a couple that owned a luxury travel agency, I eventually chose to take another risk: pivoting from my corporate career and becoming a luxury travel advisor.
